Website Compliance Checklist for a MetaQuotes MT5 Application

What your broker or prop firm website must show before MetaQuotes approves an MT5 licence: company details, addresses, contacts, risk warning, jurisdiction disclaimer, domain ownership and consistency.

Key takeaways
  • The website shown in the MT5 terminal must be owned by the applicant company.
  • Company name and both addresses must match the corporate documents exactly.
  • A risk warning and a jurisdiction disclaimer are expected.
  • An unfinished or template website is a common reason for follow-up questions.

Domain ownership

MetaQuotes asks for proof that the company owns the domain: a registrar invoice, a registration certificate or a screenshot of the registrar account showing the company as registrant. A domain held by a developer or a director personally should be transferred first.

What must be on the site

  • Full company name, exactly as on the Certificate of Incorporation.
  • Full registered address and full physical/business address.
  • An email address or contact form, and a telephone number.
  • A risk warning about leveraged products.
  • A disclaimer listing the jurisdictions you do not serve.
  • Licence number and regulator, if you hold a licence.
  • Terms, privacy policy and AML/KYC policy pages.

Quality and consistency

The site should be secure (HTTPS), complete and working, with no placeholder text. Every name and address must match the documents character for character. The business model described on the site should match the application. See the full MetaQuotes checklist.
