Jurisdictions
Forex licence jurisdictions for your MT5 licence
We work in four jurisdictions covering three levels of regulation. The right one depends on your clients, your banking, your budget and how quickly you need to launch.
Updated
We work in four jurisdictions: Mauritius (FSC) and the Bahamas (SCB) are regulated; Comoros (Mwali) issues fast offshore licences with limited recognition; Saint Lucia IBCs need no FX licence to serve clients outside Saint Lucia and CARICOM.
Our four jurisdictions
Mauritius · FSC (regulated)
Investment Dealer licence from the Financial Services Commission. A well-known regulated jurisdiction for FX/CFD brokers, with substance requirements.
The Bahamas · SCB (regulated)
Broker-dealer registration with CFD approval from the Securities Commission of The Bahamas under the Securities Industry Act 2024. Zero tax, strong reputation, local presence required.
Comoros · Mwali MISA (offshore)
International Brokerage licence from the Mwali International Services Authority. Very fast and light, with limited recognition.
Comoros · Anjouan AOFA (offshore)
A second Comoros offshore licence, with the same recognition questions as Mwali. We explain the differences on request.
Saint Lucia · IBC (no FX licence)
An International Business Company that can serve clients outside Saint Lucia and CARICOM without a local FX licence. The fastest route to MT5.

About Comoros licences. The Central Bank of the Comoros stated in June 2022 (republished December 2025) that licences issued by the autonomous islands of Mwali (Mohéli) and Anjouan have no legal effect in the Union, and many banks and regulators in other countries do not recognise them. They can support an MT5 application, but they are not equivalent to a Mauritius or Bahamas licence. We explain the trade-offs before you decide.
